Ariane Grande and Dalton Gomez Get Married in Lowkey Ceremony

Pop star Ariana Grande and real estate agent Dalton Gomez have officially tied the knot in a small ceremony in Montecito.

The couple began their relationship in January of 2020 and have spent most of the pandemic together. By December, Grande had confirmed their engagement. Posting on Instagram, “Forever n then some,” with a photo of her ring.

The couple and their families with reportedly delighted with the engagement. A source told PEOPLE, “They couldn’t be happier, they’re just so excited. This is a happy time for them, both sets of parents are thrilled.”

Grande’s family expressed their approval of her decision to marry Gomez. “Ari’s family is very happy. Everyone loves Dalton,” an insider told PEOPLE. “This phase of her life has been very quiet and uneventful in a good way. They are very happy that she is marrying Dalton.”

A sentiment that has seemingly carried on through the wedding. A rep said that “The room was so happy and full of love. The couple and both families couldn’t be happier.”

At 27, Grande has already had a pretty eventful and very public dating life, but with Gomez, that seems to be in the past. While the couple isolated together, a source told PEOPLE, “He likes keeping his relationship with Ari private. They have been able to get to know each other in peace.”

This wouldn’t have been the case if Grande didn’t take a chance early. After meeting in New York in January 2020, the couple was almost torn apart by the virus that threatened to keep them from seeing each other. Gomez had to move to LA for work, and Grande decided to follow him.

“She purchased a house in the Hollywood Hills in June and never looked back,” according to an insider. “They are incredibly happy.”
