Saturday night featured the Battle of the Platforms as two YouTube and TikTok stars went head to head in a series of boxing matches.
The most anticipated fight of the night, and the headline match, featured YouTube’s Austin McBroom and TikTok’s Bryce Hall.
“I predicted a first-round knockout,” McBroom told Esquire before the event. “My coach thinks he’s going to go the second round because he wants me to take my time, be relaxed the first round, feel him out. But I just think he’s nowhere near my level and I’m going to catch him slipping in the first.”
By all accounts, the YouTube star dominated Hall, landing 29 punches. Hall only landed ten.
But Hall didn’t get knocked out in the first round. He got knocked out in the third, unable to continue as the ref stepped in to stop the fight.
Following the match, Hall posted a photo with McBroom on Instagram.
“Great fight @austinmcbroom you impressed many along with myself with your skill set,” he said.
“I’m going back to my YouTube/TikTok shit and I’m looking forward to takin a few shots with you tonight.”
