Ben Affleck Shoots His Shot With a Woman Who Unmatched Him on Raya

Ben Affleck’s love life has been all over the news recently, starting with rumors swirling about his weekend spent with the newly-single Jennifer Lopez, and TikTok user Nivine Jay couldn’t help join in the fun.

In a TikTok posted on Monday, Jay explains that they two matched through a dating app Raya, but she unmatched him thinking it was a fake account—apparently, it wasn’t.

According to Jay, Affleck took to Instagram to plead his case with the actress & author via a selfie video. “Nivine, why did you unmatch me? It’s me!” the Oscar winner exclaimed.

Jay showed some regret in her miscalculation, posting the TikTok with the title: “Sorry Ben” and went on to explain the misunderstanding in the video.

“Thinking of the time I matched with Ben Affleck on raya and thought it was fake so I unmatched him and he sent me a video on instagram,” she captioned.

Jay’s fans were left shocked by the news of the lost love commenting, “The way he said ‘it’s me’ my soul would have left my body” and “girl u better bring that to all job interviews.”

Some fans were critical of Affleck and his advances on Jay, who had unmatched him. But those criticisms aren’t okay in Jay’s book. She told E! News, “I’m seeing a lot of comments calling him a creep, and I don’t think that’s fair. I wasn’t making fun of him in the video. I was making fun of myself for thinking he was a catfish, and it was just supposed to be funny.”

It isn’t known when this interaction happened, and for now, it has yet to be confirmed on Affleck’s end. With all the J.Lo rumors swirling, it’s safe to say Affleck and Jay probably aren’t going to reconnect anytime soon.
