Beyoncé’s twins Rumi and Sir celebrated their 4th birthday over the weekend.
On Sunday, the R&B superstar posted a sweet message to them on her personal website.
She wrote, “What’s better than 1 gift…2. Happy Birthday Rumi and Sir.”
No photos of the twins were posted for their special day, as Beyoncé and husband and father, Jay-Z, tend to be more private when it comes to sharing their children online.
Back in March, the Grammy-winning artist shared a series of photos on Instagram from a family day in Malibu, California. She shared them enjoying a meal at the Japanese restaurant Nobu and playing in the ocean. Rumi and Sir’s faces weren’t visible in the images.
In her 2019 Netflix documentary, Homecoming, Beyoncé revealed her pregnancy complications due to preeclampsia.
The star also discussed how difficult it has been to find a balance between her career and motherhood.
“I’m just trying to figure out how to balance being the mother of a 6-year-old and twins that need me and giving myself creativity,” she said, adding, “Physically, it was a lot to juggle. I have children, I have a husband, I have to take care of my body.”
At this year’s Grammy Awards, Beyoncé became the most-awarded female artist with her best R&B performance for “Black Parade”
