Bachelor and Bachelorette alums Bri Spring, 25, and Greg Grippo, 28, have squashed dating rumors after being seen together around New York City.
Spring, who appeared on Matt James’ season of the Bachelor, took to her Instagram stories to clear up the rumors.
A photo of her holding a man’s hand who is clearly not Greg was captioned, “current relationship status.” She followed this post with a series of videos of the couple grilling food from ButcherBox.
Rumors circulated that Spring and Grippo were intimate after Instagram user @bachelornation.scoop received multiple photos from followers of the two and their NYC outings. The first picture shows only their backs, but the second clearly shows Spring and Grippo waiting to enter club Noir.
The follower who sent in the photos said they approached Spring and Grippo for a photo but were turned down.
Spring apparently spoke for Grippo and said, “He said ‘no,’ we are trying to be discreet.”
Before being seen with Spring, Grippo had recently left Katie Thurston’s season of The Bachelorette where drama had ensued.
The New Jersey native had been the recipient of Thurston’s first impression rose and first one-on-one date. He was a favorite of the Bachelorette from the beginning, but some fans of the show believed he was “too good to be true.”
After telling Thurston he loved her and not receiving a reassuring response, Grippo said, “I deserve more than what I’ve been given on your side. I’m not happy here anymore. I’m done here.”
Grippo and Thurston seemed to continue their drama on social media, but the Bachelorette has since posted an Instagram story saying, “Regardless of where you stand, we are all talking about it, and that’s most important. Learning. Growing. Understanding. Love you all. Signing off for a break.”
Regardless of the rumors and the drama, it seems Spring and Grippo are no more than friends from Bachelor Nation.
