Jason Momoa and Lisa Bonet Split After Four-Year Marriage

After four years of marriage, “Game of Thrones” and “Aquaman” actor Jason Momoa and “High Fidelity” and “Ray Donovan” actress Lisa Bonet have split.

In a joint statement on Instagram shared Wednesday, the former couple wrote, “We have all felt the squeeze and changes of these transformational times…A revolution is unfolding, and our family is of no exception–feeling and growing from the seismic shifts occurring.”

They continued, “And so, we share our family news: we are parting ways in marriage. We share this not because we think it’s newsworthy, but so that as we go about our lives, we may do so with dignity and honesty.”

The couple wishes to part ways amicably. And despite their separation, Momoa and Bonet hope to be a good example for their children. They will likely continue to co-parent their two children, Lola, 14, and Nakoa-Wolf, 13, as well as lend their support to Zoey Kravitz, 33, Bonet’s daughter from her previous marriage to Lenny Kravitz.

The statement continued by saying, “The love between us carries on, evolving in ways it wishes to be known and lived. We free each other to be who we are learning to become. Our devotion is unwavering to this sacred life & our Children teaching our Children what’s possible. Living the Prayer. May Love Prevail, J & L.”

The two first started dating back in 2004 and had their two children shortly after. However, Momoa and Bonet didn’t tie the knot until October 2017.
