The TV personality turned entrepreneur shares her hot takes on the recent seasons of the RHONYC along with other franchises of the show. She even reveals how much she made from the first season.
Before we get into the Housewives, we have to talk about Jill Zarin. Zarin is quite the busy woman–between traveling back and forth between multiple houses along the east coast, hosting charity events, and managing her various business ventures, she still has time for Tiktok. Zarin really does it all.
This entrepreneur knows how to talk business. She has created Jill Zarin Home and Jill Zarin Rugline. And with Jill Zarin Blankets, Sheets, and Duvets soon to follow, that’s a lot of Jill Zarin coming your way! She’s even been working hard to give the people what they want: merch from her RHONYC days. As if she isn’t busy enough, she and her daughter, Allyson, started making and selling masks during the pandemic. Their clientele is pretty impressive, with stars like the Kardashians and the D’Amelios sporting their masks.
When Jill isn’t hard at work, she likes to unwind with some TV. She’s a fan of every franchise of the Real Housewives and a sucker for “90 Day Fiance.” The former Housewife admitted to buying Disney+ just to watch the singles version. We feel you on that one, Jill.
As for the tea, Jill candidly shared her perspective on the RHONYC. She thinks the show has lost its spark due to a lack of family involvement in the show. The former Housewife said, “They should have brought me back three or four years ago.” That’d be something many fans would love to see. As one of the original women on RHONYC, Jill is passionate about the show.
Jill recalled her introduction to the show years ago. It all started with an out-of-the-blue phone call from Hollywood. Producers saw a picture of Jill and her daughter on the NY Social Diary, a popular socialite website, and they picked up the phone. A large portion of the casting for the first season of RHONYC is owed to Jill. Jill convinced Bethenny Frankel and Luann de Lesseps to join the show. Thank you, Jill Zarin!
On that same stroll down memory lane, Jill shared how much she made for the first season of RHONYC–$7,500 for the entire season and $5,000 for the reunion! According to Jill, the salary could be up to $2 million per season now.
