Country singer-songwriter Jimmie Allen and Alexis Gale got married Thursday evening.
The ACM winner and his fiancé celebrated with family and friends, including fellow country stars Darius Rucker and Tyler Rich.
Allen and Gale got engaged at Disney World in July 2019 after dating for several years. However, they had to push back their wedding date due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
“Yeah, we pushed it back to next year, so I’m excited about that,” Allen told PEOPLE last summer. “Hopefully, it’ll all be good.”
The couple are both originally from Milton, Delaware, and met through Allen’s cousin’s wife.
Shortly after the two started dating, Allen gushed to PEOPLE: “Her smile melts me, her pure heart challenges me to love better, the way she motivates and supports me is unlike anything I’ve ever seen, the way she loves me and my son is unlike anything I’ve ever experienced. It feels incredible to find the type of love I’ve been writing songs about all these years!”
The couple welcomed their first child together, daughter Naomi Bettie Allen, in March of 2020. Allen also has a 7-year old son, Aadyn, from a previous relationship.
Neither Allen nor Gale has posted on social media regarding the wedding, and no details of their honeymoon plans have been made public.
