After a whirlwind romance, John Mulaney and Olivia Munn welcomed their newborn son, Malcolm Hiệp Mulaney, on November 24, and the new mom is keeping her Instagram followers up-to-date.
Her latest post from January 10th is captioned, “The smooshiest smoosh 💋” followed by, “(And yep, our Christmas tree is still up 🙈).” The photo is of Mulaney kissing Malcolm on the neck, getting in all the newborn cuddles he can.
Many family members, friends, and followers commented on the post, reassuring the family that they weren’t alone in keeping their decorations up while spending time with their new bundle of joy.
Alyssa Milano commented, “Bring him to meet the horses. Those lips. So adorbs. My tree is still up too.” Ben Baller joined in, saying, “We JUST took our Christmas tree down today 😬.”
Others, like Maria Bravo and Devery Jacobs respectively, wished the couple congratulations with comments like, “So adorable. Congratulations ❤️❤️” and, “Adorable! Congratulations.”
The couple first posted about Malcolm around the New Year with Mulaney posting a sweet photo with a caption that reads, “Meet Malcolm Hiệp Mulaney. He has his whole life ahead of him. He hasn’t even tried seltzer yet. I’m very in love with him and his whole deal. Happy Holidays.”
Munn posted a similar photo of Malcolm swaddled in a blanket with a light blue cap captioned, “My Golden Ox baby. Malcolm Hiệp Mulaney. Happy Holidays. ❤️💚”
Mulaney first announced that he and Munn were expecting a baby in September, telling Seth Meyers, “I got into this relationship that’s been really beautiful with someone incredible, and we’re having a baby together.”
He added, “Olivia and this baby have helped save me from myself in this early journey out of recovery.”
