Jordyn Woods and Karl-Anthony Towns celebrated their first anniversary with a tropical getaway vacation.
Woods shared a carousel of images on Instagram from the pair’s milestone trip. In her caption she wrote, “Pinch me, I’m dreaming… a photo dump series. Expect lots of these this week.”
Towns commented on the Instagram post, “Love You.”
She posted another series of pics showing the couple posing for a cozy photo together.
The couple first announced on Instagram that they were official back in September.
In an interview with Extra that same month, Woods shared that she and Towns had been friends for a long time and that they both connected over losing a parent at a young age.
Towns’ mother, Jacqueline Towns, passed away at the age of 59 in April 2020 after a weeks-long battle with COVID-19. Woods’ father, John Woods, died in 2017 after being diagnosed with cancer.
Woods said that their relationship happened very organically after being best friends for a while.
“I just think that when you find the right one, you can learn even more about yourself,” Woods told Extra. “It’s about learning to evolve with someone. The right person will bring a lot out of you.”
The two were also quick to shut down cheating rumors back in March.
Towns addressed talk on infidelity in a tweet where he wrote, “So I got the baddest girl in the game and you think I’m gonna waste my energy with anyone else, gtfoh! Same haters we got now are gonna be the same ones we have when I put that ring on her finger!”
