Kaley Cuoco has adopted a “9-year-old ginormous mastiff chunk mutt of love,” according to her latest Instagram post.
“When you know you know!” Cuoco wrote in her caption. Welcome to the family, Larry! He’s a 9-year-old ginormous mastiff chunk mutt of love and we are obsessed.”
The gallery of photos features Larry with Cuoco’s husband Karl Cook.
The post went on to thank Paws for Life K9 Rescue the “the perfect addition to our lives,” with a plea to adopt, don’t shop.
Paws for Life K9 Rescue is a prison dog training program for post-traumatic stress disorder service dogs for veterans and Canine Good Citizen certified adoptable dogs.
“Also thank you to his previous fosters for taking amazing care of him!” Cuoco added.
Cook posted on Instagram as well, saying “Big man Larry is already part of the family.”
“You are such a good man,” he continued. “There is a weird energy around adopting older dogs, until you give it a try you have no idea how awesome and rewarding it is. Adopting older dogs are the best!”
Larry’s adoption comes six months after Cuoco shared news about the passing of her dog Norman with two black and white Instagram photos.
“Earth-shattering deep gut-wrenching pain I didn’t know was possible,” Cuoco said in January.
“Norman, you were my entire world for 14 years. Thank you for smiling at me as you left this world, confirming once again our language was ours alone. You will always have my heart.
Cuoco and Cook also mourned the loss of dog Petunia back in November 2020, who was also adopted from Paws for Life K9 Rescue.
