Bull riding caught Prince Harry‘s attention at the Stockyards Championship Rodeo in Fort Worth, Texas where spectators and rodeo workers noticed his appearance.
“Where was Prince Harry Saturday night? Oooooh, just hanging out behind the bucking chutes at the Stockyards Championship Rodeo!! Loooove it!! Thank you for the visit!!” read a since-deleted post by Stockyards Championship Rodeo secretary Cindy Reid.
Other rodeo goers, like trainer and former bull rider Cory Melton, also had fun spotting the Prince.
Melton joked on a post which has now been deleted, “Prince Harry hanging out at the rodeo this week … We get a lot of rodeo royalty but this is the first prince I’ve seen. Said he was going to enter the bull riding but the airline lost his rigging bag….”
The Duke of Sussex, 37, has also been seen out and about at other iconic American events in recent weeks. While the Prince flew solo at the Fort Worth rodeo, he was spotted at the 2022 Super Bowl in Los Angeles in February with Princess Eugenie, where he also made an appearance in the Rams’ locker room after their win against the Cincinnati Bengals.
Princess Eugenie, 31, and The Duke of Sussex have been close friends since childhood.
“Eugenie had always been more than just a cousin to Harry. They were also the closest of friends,” Omid Scobie and Carolyn Durand, authors of Finding Freedom: Harry and Meghan and the Making of a Modern Royal Family, said. “Out of all the Queen’s grandchildren, Harry and Eugenie have one of the most natural connections. Like Harry, Eugenie is loyal, honest, and great fun. The two had many nights out together in London.”
